Safety is a paramount consideration in the project; the project manager ensures that safety is a top priority and that all group / country procedures and regulation are implemented.
The aim is to have 0 accidents during the project.
Ensure that all suppliers are respecting environment rules and keeping at all the time the site in good status of arrangement and housekeeping.
Deliver an operable investment in compliance with the LafargeHolcim Maroc and Group safety objectives, reaching the technical performance targets, meeting the time schedule milestones and within the budget.
In charge of developing, organizing, delivering, managing and controlling the Technical Project. He reports hierachically to Souss Project Director. He has a dotted line to the PME organization
This assignment is related to implementation Phase of the project.
The Incumbent is located on the construction site and it requires some travel.
He reports hierarchically to the project director and has a dotted line to the PME organization. A Steering committee is set up for the project. The project director report for the project to the country CEO and the Steering committee.

During contract Implementation, the Project Manager will:
Make sure that safety is the priority for all parties to the project and that all LafargeHolcim Group and LafargeHolcim Morocco safety standards including local rules and regulations are implemented and well respected. Zero Harm is the target
Deliver an operable investment within the Group and Lafarge Morocco safety objectives, reaching the technical performance targets, meeting the time schedule milestones and the budget.
Make sure that all work done is in compliance with the Terms Of Reference of the project, the Lafargeholcim and Lafargeholcim Morocco procedures and standards and obtain the approval from for any deviation.
Supervise the project engineering management
Ensure the coordination between all contractors involved in the project.
Supervise the technical and financial comparisons of the bidders after the tender opening.
Participate in the technical negotiations with the contractors lead by the project Director and PME . Assist the BU project director during negotiations and contracting.
Select, organize, drive, manage and motivate the technical project team mobilized for the project.
Directs day-to-day activities of the project team under his/her responsibility,
Organizes and conducts formal projects risk analysis with the project director,
Coordinate with Operation Preparation Team
Foster collaboration spirit and team work with all parties involved in the project.
Make sure that proper documentation is kept as required for auditing and for capitalization of experience and manages project pending issues until final acceptance with all Contractors and the plant,
Support the start up and commissioning.
Support a smooth transition to operation.
Issue end of project report and participate to the closing of the credit.
Perform any job assigned to him by the project director
