Support stable and efficient operations for LafargeHolcim’s global consolidation and reporting application (SAP FC)
Maintain and enhance global consolidation and reporting application according to legal and business requirements, in full compliance with internal (ICS) and external (external audit) governance framework
Support and train SAP FC users in the daily use of SAP FC
Support and drive stable and efficient operations and business support for the global consolidation and reporting application for all close events. Support of SAP FC users in reporting events by answering helpdesk questions and escalating IT related issues to GIT (e.g. network issues, Citrix, IAM)
Maintain and enhance the global consolidation and reporting application according to legal and business requirements through a regular release cycle:
Collect, discuss and define required changes with stakeholders; agree on implementation priorities and focus with stakeholders
Closely align developments and solutions in SAP FC and FIM/DS with all other reporting applications (BW, Qlikview) in order to ensure most efficient and effective reporting solution in the corporate consolidation and reporting application landscape
Implement defined changes in SAP FC and FIM/DS within the SAP FC release cycle. Ensure proper technical UAT testing and coordinate and drive business testing and feedback between all involved parties. Participate in solution design meetings and CAB meetings to evaluate and define most efficient and effective technical solutions
Support global user management process: Implement user changes in line with global user management process to provide users timely and adequate access to the SAP FC system and FIM/DS interface
Ensure full compliance with internal (ICS) and external (external audit) governance framework for all system changes and user management process
Develop and maintain SAP FIM / DS interfaces from regional ERP and SAP BW systems to SAP FC. Support ITSCs and group reporting entities in implementing and establishing the FIM / DS interfaces as well as in the mapping of regional ERP and SAP BW data to the chart of accounts and setup in SAP FC
Support, drive and coordinate technical SAP FC and FIM / DS upgrades to guarantee system stability, continued support from vendor and to provide latest functionalities to business: Plan, coordinate and support yearly SAP FC and SAP HANA technical upgrades in close collaboration with other Corporate reporting applications (BW, Qlikview) and with GIT.
Coordinate infrastructure operations (SAP Basis) with GIT I&O (eg. system and database copies, backup plan, monitoring of system environment, etc.)
Define and provide regular end user training for SAP FC and FIM / DS by face to face training workshops in regions and countries, by video training sessions and by on-line training possibilities
Define and implement new system requirements in special projects (e.g. merger of companies, new design of planning, forecasting and reporting events, etc.)
Support and coordinate IT projects from a global consolidation and reporting application point of view: Evaluate potential system impacts, coordinate planning and implementation phases with finance close calendars and resource availability, coordinate required testing and testing
Continuous communication with various stakeholders at Corporate, ITSCs, BSCs, and Group Companies: Support creation of SAP FC newsletters, preview on future changes and developments, system documentation, etc.
Master or Bachelor in Finance or Economics
Master or Bachelor in applied computer science or IT engineering
University degree or similar education (e.g. or higher degree of applied science)
Good understanding of consolidation and financial reporting to support end user in technical and business related issues
Professional experience (required):
SAP FC in depth knowledge, with experience in SAP FC development team for at least 3 years as consultant or as member of internal SAP FC support team
Working as accountant or controller in consolidation department for at least 3 years
Additional experience (optional):
Preferably experience in Group Company or ITSC
Sound LHARP knowledge
Experience as project lead
SQL experience in SAP FC area
