    The purpose of Global Internal Communications & Channels at LafargeHolcim is to provide the messages and materials to inform, inspire and engage our 80,000 employees spread across all continents on the strategy of the company: Strategy 2022 - Building for Growth.     Working with the executive management, a network of communicators around the world as well as key stakeholders in the business across all functions, Global Internal Communications & Channels develops and manages CEO and Senior Leader internal communications, strategic communications, global internal campaigns, and global and corporate channels.

    Responsibilities

    The Intern for the Global Internal Communications & Channels team will be responsible for supporting global projects, the development of content for various digital communications channels and the hands-on involvement at various company events.

     

    This will require the ability to juggle a variety of responsibilities for different members of the global team located across two European locations, ensuring deadlines are met and the various projects tracked.

     

    Education/Qualifications

    • Minimum Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
    • Previous work experience in a professional environment preferred

    Experience

    • Experience with Content Management Systems for online publication an added asset
    • Project management experience preferred
    • Experience with digital tools and communications channels preferred

    Knowledge & Skills

    • English content development, e.g. story writing, preferred
    • Experience with Google Office tools preferred
    • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word preferred
    • Good organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines preferred

    Language Requirements

    Excellent skills in English required. German and/or French-speaking skills an added asset.

    Travel Requirements

    Occasional travel in Europe required.
