  • Overview

    The Project Manager for Lean Logistic Processes is responsible for developing ‘best in industry’ processes, tools, measurements and implementation guides for Lean Shipping Station (LSS) and Order To Cash (O2C) optimization; as well as supporting countries in developing ‘super users’ by organizing trainings, communities and jointly running projects.


    • Staying ahead of developments with competition and benchmark industries in the evolution of Shipping Station (unloading, warehousing, packing, loading) and Order to Cash (order management, order fulfilment) processes
    • Building and regularly updating playbooks with standardised self-assessment tools, processes, an implementation toolbox, and instructions that allow the easy replication of best practises and building of skills in countries
    • Active participation in the global LEX (Logistics Excellence) program; driving LSS and / or O2C initiatives and coaching the assigned LEX navigator(s)
    • Individually running country specific process optimisation projects outside of LEX Program
    • Identifying and training “superusers” on the country and / or regional level. Developing / selecting training programs for “Superusers”.
    • Create a community of practice among “superusers” on national / regional level to ensure they capable to run process optimisation projects, improve tools and practices locally with minimal Corporate support and further develop skills locally.
    • Establishing performance and impact tracking to allow benchmarking, and continuous improvement. Ensuring continuous monitoring and reports of the performance of LSS / O2C projects.


    • University degree in engineering, technology, project management, IT, business administration or similar


    • Lean Management experience, applying and coaching lean management principles in manufacturing and/or customer service environments
    • Project Management from multinational or consulting firm with experience driving change management in an International environment
    • Understanding of issues and best practices within the supply chains of building materials or other industrial companies is an advantage
