  • Overview

    The Commercial Analytics Manager implements a robust process and system for effective, internal and external, benchmarking applicable across the organisation. The manager supports the definition of performance variables and execution of integrated performance analysis aiming to deliver insights to Countries, Business Segments and Functions to prioritise growth and efficiency initiatives. Moreover, the manager provides ad-hoc support to ensure Country diagnostics, benchmarking and related projects will be delivered against requirements.

    Responsibilities

    • To support monitoring and analysis of performance improvement aiming to support periodic and ad-hoc decision making by target audience
    • To develop and implement a robust process and, progressively automated, system for efficient collection, aggregation and reporting of selected data points
    • To maintain and improve that process and system in a continued and proactive manner
    • To support definition and drive implementation of meaningful performance variables in alignment with higher level metrics and the LH Accounting & Reporting Principles
    • To support activities along Management Cycle (e.g. budget, MTP) with relevant information
    • To support Countries in setting up local benchmarking processes and systems

    Education/Qualifications

    • University degree (preferably Master) in business administration, marketing, economics or similar
    • Specific courses in the area of business intelligence/ analytics as a plus

    Experience

    • Business acumen and a good understanding of the economics and dynamics of the (commercial) business environment. Operational experience in the construction materials industry is a big plus
    • Track record of successfully delivered initiatives in the areas of business intelligence, performance analysis, controlling, data analytics or related
    • Demonstrated experience and ability to proactively engage with key stakeholders from other Functions and Countries to drive goal oriented collaboration
    • Experience and flexibility in dealing with ambiguity and ad-hoc requests

    Knowledge & Skills

    • Ability to use information and data to develop insights required to subsequently improve business performance
    • In-depth analytical and technical skills allowing to build robust and integrated systems for master data management and visualization, e.g. SAP BW, QlikView, SQL, Advanced Excel/ PowerPoint
    • Strong interpersonal/ communication skills and credibility with line management across all levels of the organisation
    • Proven agile project management skills

    Language Requirements

    Fluent English mandatory. Any additional language skills would be an advantage

    Travel Requirements

    Ability to travel globally approx. 10% of the time
