  • Overview

    The communications department of LafargeHolcim is looking for a Digital Content Manager.

    Responsibilities

    • New content creation, interviews and writing of news content for LafargeHolcim that can be leveraged on the Group’s website and through Social Media.
    • Editorial planning for digital media sourcing and topic identification
    • Webmastering and posting of content on social media in connection with topic owners from LafargeHolcim (for instance Investor relations) -- working on CMS (Drupal) and Hootsuite for social media.
    • Corporate website sections & associated content revamp (ex: Careers, Needs & solutions...). Design of architecture for new sections, sourcing meetings with topic owners and content/text production through optimum use of existing templates, and integration of contents.
    • Identification and assessment & recommendations and testing for new functionalities, in collaboration with the Digital expert in order to reflect the needs of the business.
    • Coordination of graphic & video material production; occasionally, it can also mean liaising with agencies and / or graphic designers to update infographics/charts/videos etc.
    • Community management for the corporate social media accounts, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram

    Education/Qualifications

    • Educational background in Communication and very interested in digital media

    Experience

    • We require a digital communication specialist (ideally with an educational background in digital media) who is experienced with writing for the Web and social media who is familiar with the latest content management systems, be it for internet or social media.
    • a project manager capable of coordinating technical & graphic internal and external partners.
    • a digital editor-in-chief who understands the Group´s digital content galaxy (external/internal/social media) to find the best angles & formats for each channel.
    • a corporate mindset: requires a real understanding of the Group´s strategy and priorities, as well as the tone and accuracy of corporate information.

    Knowledge & Skills

    • Excellent English writing and communication skills
    • A technically savvy person. Not an IT person, but able to sit with the Group Digital expert to develop the functionalities to make contents more impactful, also able to monitor key analytics and digital KPIs.
    • A team player, who can connect to the existing Communications teams to source and share information efficiently across the department.
    • A flexible approach. Willing to provide support out of normal business hours when required (ie during corporate reporting period such a during financial results etc.)
    • An analytical mind who knows SEO and SMO practices.

    Language Requirements

    English copywriter: the person will be expected to write and interview in English (knowledge of German and French preferable)
