Overview

We are currently looking for a Manager Sustainability Reporting and Communications (100%) working in our corporate office located in Zug.

 

The Manager Sustainability Reporting and Communication supports the Senior Manager Sustainability Reporting and Communication in the effective communication and reporting of the Groups sustainability strategy, objectives

and performance to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Senior Manager and provide content for the Groups sustainability disclosures. 

This includes:

  1. Annual integrated report
  2. Sustainability performance report
  3. Global external website
  4. Internal communications channels (LH Connect)
  • Support the external assurance of Sustainability Department results, working with the selected and assurance provider and relevant contacts from Finance
  • Address requests from ESG ratings agencies and support with the completion of questionnaires such as Sustainalytics, DJSI, MSCI, Vigeo, ISS and others. Assist topic experts with the completion of
    CDP Carbon and Water, CHRB (human rights) and related other reports such as UNGC Communication on progress. 
  • Provide responses to investor queries on sustainability issues
  • Assist in developing response to media and investor queries on controversies
  • Develop and manage an external sustainability advisory panel

Education/Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Communication and or Sustainability

Experience

  • 10+ years seniority required. Preferably in related field of sustainability/ communication/ reporting

Knowledge & Skills

  • Ability to design and deliver presentations to senior management and external audiences. 
  • Ability to capture and analyze sustainability data and propose actions to be taken based on 
    results
  • Accuracy and rigour in computing and analyzing data from multiple sources
  • Ability to work in multinational matrix and to deal with multi-cultural differences
  • Ability to drive parallel missions (not sequential) 
  • Project management 
  • Strong ability to influence and to convince
  • Strong rigor

 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Good network of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in the domain of Group reporting
  • Active listening skills and empathy 
  • Experience of stakeholders relations, with business, government and non-government bodies
  • Ability to work in network and horizontal relationships 

Language Requirements

Native equivalent writing and oral skills in English. Writing articles/reports in English is a key part of the position. Any other language is an asset (French, German, Spanish).
